Mr. Federick= Hitler Parallels

-Frederick used fear to get to get what he wanted just like Hitler used fear of his Nazis and military to get Germany and other countries to follow him.

-Frederick was out to gain power for himself just like Hitler did; Hitler wanted to rule the world and have power for himself.

-Frederick wanted to take over the farm and rule for his own gain in search of power; he did not care about the welfare of his fellow animals. Hitler only wanted to conqueror the world for his own gain and power; he did not care about the welfare of his countrymen.

-Frederick gives Napoleon fake five pound notes to pay timber just like Hitler paid forged money to Stalin.

-Frederick exaggerated stories about what was going on at the farm to get the other men to come with him to take over the farm just like Hitler exaggerated about the problems with the economy after World War I; and led people to believe that following him was the only way to have financial security again.

-Mr. Frederick spread lies about the failure of Animal Farm just like Hitler spread lies about Germany being victorious and America falling when Germany was getting defeated by the Americans at the end of World War II.
